In honor of the 15th Anniversary of Crisis Aid International’s ministry to the desperately poor and exploited, Monarch has created a “signature” necklace to celebrate their impact in the world. Helping the Helpless is a 2-sided, hand-soldered glass pendant with a map of St. Louis, MO on one side & a map of East Africa on the reverse – both locations where Crisis Aid is making a difference. A silver globe and small bling enhance the pendant, which hangs from a 28” adjustable silver ball chain.
In 2016 Crisis Aid distributed over 7.73 million meals worldwide, which saved multiple thousands who likely would not have survived without the aid. Twenty-seven water wells have blessed communities without clean drinking water, along with educating more than 8,000 children through Speed Schools. Medical clinics in East Africa have served over 397,000 people! The ministry within St. Louis, Wings, has served over 13,000 people in 2016, resulting in over 68,000 pounds of food and partners to help local children with education. Crisis Aid has rescued 860 sex trafficked girls worldwide and is in their 5th year of providing a full restoration plan at the St. Louis Refuge home for American victims, where 150 girls have been served.
