This necklace is dedicated to the one in eight women who will experience breast cancer in her life. We applaud your courage, strength and faith. Here in lies our hope: “In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade.” (1 Peter 3-4) Living Hope is handcrafted from a silver-plated utensil, lovingly hand-stamped with the word, “HOPE,” and embellished with a pink rhinestone ribbon charm. Living Hope hangs from a 20″ silver ball chain necklace.
Jen-Getting involved with Monarch has been a blessing for me as a volunteer because it is a creative outlet where I can live out my devotion to God and serve in a way that provides resources for the fight against sex-trafficking. The community of volunteers gathers weekly to produce jewelry for this purpose, and to offer support and prayer for one another.
The first U.S.-based Crisis Aid Refuge home opened in December 2012 for young adults. After many calls from multiple state agencies, we expanded our Refuge Home in July 2015 in order to serve both young adults and minors in state custody-which are both tremendous needs in our community according to the 2015 Trafficking in Persons Report.
Because of your giving and prayers, we have provided trauma-centered aftercare services to more than 155 American victims of sex trafficking ages 13-30 years old.
