Life in Bloom
Bring life to your dresser or dress up a special gift with this “trinket tray” made from a repurposed silver plated spoon, hand-stamped with “Life in Bloom”. It is embellished with silver leaves and pink enamel and rhinestone flowers. It is the sweetest reminder that girls who are rescued can bloom, despite their circumstances.
Jen-Getting involved with Monarch has been a blessing for me as a volunteer because it is a creative outlet where I can live out my devotion to God and serve in a way that provides resources for the fight against sex-trafficking. The community of volunteers gathers weekly to produce jewelry for this purpose, and to offer support and prayer for one another.
The first U.S.-based Crisis Aid Refuge home opened in December 2012 for young adults. After many calls from multiple state agencies, we expanded our Refuge Home in July 2015 in order to serve both young adults and minors in state custody-which are both tremendous needs in our community according to the 2015 Trafficking in Persons Report.
Because of your giving and prayers, we have provided trauma-centered aftercare services to more than 110 American victims of sex trafficking ages 13-30 years old.
